The Korra Realist

And yet he’s the little lovebird making the house call. 

I always found this scene funny. Korra is the first person he thinks of when his brother isn’t around. Bolin could be anywhere hanging out with anybody, but Mako automatically thinks Korra. And then, Mako makes the trip via sailboat to Air Temple Island just to ask Korra if she’s seen his brother. Although I’m sure he was starting to get a little worried, me thinks he also wanted an excuse to see Korra. Especially since now we know from Bryke’s commentary that these two had an unspoken attraction to one another prior to episode 5.
